Project Definition and Goals
Our customer is a global corporation and manufacturer of automobiles and commercial vehicles. In order to reduce costs and to optimize processes our customer planned to move a 24/7 Computer Center to an offshore location in Banagalore India. BEMA Consulting GmbH was given the task of completing a large part of the strategy and implementation of this project. Our tasks included ensuring good communication between India and Germany, balancing culture differences, implementation and supervision of Knowledge Transfer (spending some time in India), Skill screening before hiring new employees in India as well as moderating and supporting meetings.

From the beginning, BEMA Consulting GmbH was a key player in the development and implementation of different programs to ensure a successful transfer of knowledge to the offshore location in India. Communication between both locations was dramatically improved through the use of various communication platforms and a greater intercultural sensitivity. Thanks for the skills and experience of our specialists, who had worked in various departments in the Computer Center for the previous 7 years, the move when smoothly and further offshore development is planned.
